Darren Waller: A Fantasy Football Breakout Candidate
31-Year-Old Tight End Ready to Shine in 2023

At PFN, we've researched more than 350 fantasy football players trying to identify which ones are the best values at their current ADP (Average Draft Position). One player that we've identified as a potential breakout candidate is Darren Waller.
Waller is a 31-year-old tight end who had a breakout season in 2019, catching 90 passes for 1,145 yards and three touchdowns. He followed that up with another strong season in 2020, catching 107 passes for 1,551 yards and 11 touchdowns.
However, Waller missed six games in 2021 due to injuries. He still managed to catch 55 passes for 665 yards and two touchdowns. Waller is now healthy and entering his seventh NFL season.
The tight end position in fantasy football is notoriously difficult to predict. However, Waller has the talent and the opportunity to be a top-five tight end in 2023.
Waller is currently being drafted as the fifth tight end off the board in fantasy drafts this summer. He has an ADP of 58th overall. We believe that Waller is a great value at that price.
